...Only a short commercial flight North from Seattle, you will arrive in Ketchikan. We will then depart for Prince of Wales Island by seaplane. It is on this remote Island where you will enjoy the finest Black Bear Hunting in North America. Prince of Wales is the third largest U.S. Island territory and has the highest bear/wolf density per square mile anywhere. Our outfitted Black Bear hunts take place in the early spring. Spring Black bear hunting in Alaska allows for close encounters with unblemished bears during their initial search for fresh grasses, Sea Kelp and other coastal food.

Your spring pursuit of these Island bears will lead you to healthy watersheds and rugged wilderness.. This is a true safari as you will quietly spot and stalk bears at the flats of these unnamed creeks. All hunts are typically reserved a year in advance because of limited permits.
